Milani Haul: Amore Matte Lip Creme, Baked Blush, Color Statement Lipstick & Lipliner and more

Milani is a drugstore brand which is famous for its quality, the reasonable prices and the beautiful range of shades.

I just recently picked some products to try and Milani is -already- irreplaceable for me. My high expectations about this brand were exceeded and I totally fall in love with the statement gold packaging!

This is my current Milani collection. Enjoy the review and the swatches!

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso (7,16€)

No wonder it’s a best seller. A silky luminous finish which is sheer but also very buildable. Luminoso is a soft peachy orange color which looks super natural on medium skin tones and it’s perfect for spring and summer time. It doesn’t contain any shimmer. I am definately looking  forward to try more Baked Blushes by Milani.

Milani Bella Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Dolci (5,58€)

I was very eager to try the famous gel powder eyeshadows by Milani as they are well known for a silky texture and a finish that resembles a liquid shadow’s. This product didn’t disappoint me: it applies like velvet and it has a nice pigmentetion, but I didn’t say “wow”. Dolci is a limited edition rose-gold color which looks very unique. It has a metal finish and contains some shimmer however it’s very wearable even in daylight.

Milani Brow Shaping Clear Wax (3,96€)

A great alternative of Anastasia Beverly Hill’s product (it feels actually the same). It is a jumbo pencil that puts the eyebrows in place without looking too steady. It gives a natural result which is not too matte. I love to use it before I apply my eyebrow pencil and/or shadow because it makes the pencil slide. It’s an excellent final step on your eyebrow routine as well. You can match it with your eyebrow comb for a totally natural effect on eyebrows.

Milani Color Statement Lipstick in 42 Rose Femme (5,58€)

An excellent choice for every girl. Not only it’s hydrating, it makes the lips look plumper and it is also highly pigmented and has a strong staying power. Rose Femme is a rosy brown with mauve undertones which is a great dupe for MAC Twig. It has a strong fruity scent that tends to be a little chemical but I will wear it all year long anyway.

Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in 11 Precious and 12 Loved (7,96 €)

It has a rich formula and only one swipe is enough to get full coverage. The application is very soft, double-sided but not the easiest to do the lip line. It slowly dries, it stays on lips for many hours but you might need to apply a bit in the center of the lips after eating or drinking. As it looks super matte, it may define the fine lines. Its vanilla candy taste is seriously the best ever!

Precious is a vibrant medium rose with mauve undertones and Loved is a deep terracotta rose with brown undertones. The first one is ideal for spring and summer but the second one can suit to pale or tanned skin as well.

Milani Color Statement Lipliner in 07 Brandy (3,80 €)

Not too dry, not too creamy. An excellent -very opaque- lipliner for a full color look. It lasts for many hours and it feels very nice on the lips. Brandy is a very unique deep mauve color with brown undertones which has a semimatte finish. It really flatters medium/tanned and dark skintones.I will wear it all year round.
